State-of-the-art racking system for Syncreon's new distribution center.

For the efficient and space-saving storage of spare parts, logistics service provider Syncreon chose Jungheinrich to fully equip its new distribution warehouse in Venray, Netherlands. In cooperation with META, this included a four-storey pick tower and a modular racking system.

Challenges

  • High and changing variety of items in various shapes and sizes.
  • Manual storage and order picking of primarily sensitive stored goods.

Solutions

  • 700 m2 large, four-storey pick tower with more than 10,000 large shelves that each can hold up to 150 kg.
  • Additional storage space thank to a modular racking system with 1,250 shelves that each can hold up to 150 kg.
  • 5,000 flexibly usable shelf dividers in both racking systems for optimal and flexible separation of goods.
  • Multi-bay racking for efficient pallet storage.
  • Reach truck of type ETV 214 for transport as well as storage and retrieval of pallets.
