First Blood Donation Drive
On 12 November 2025, Jungheinrich Singapore hosted it’s very first company-wide Blood Donation Drive reflecting our commitment to community care under The Yellow Way.
Why This Matters
Singapore’s blood supply faces ongoing challenges — from an ageing population and shrinking donor pool to seasonal drops in donation rates. These shifts are creating an increasing gap between supply and demand, particularly for high-usage blood types such as O+.
By stepping up together, our team is contributing to a cause that truly saves lives. A powerful reflection of our core value, “We Care.”
Giving Back, The Yellow Way
To make participation easy and safe, employees were given two donation dates to choose from, with the blood donation drive held at the BloodBank @ Westgate. After their donation, light refreshments were provided, and staff were encouraged to rest and take things slow for the remainder of the day.
To further support participation, employees were able to apply for Volunteer Work Leave, ensuring they could recover comfortably while still giving back to a meaningful cause.
Looking Ahead
As our first company-wide blood donation drive, the response has been encouraging. The strong engagement shows the heart of our team and their willingness to make a difference where it truly counts.
With this positive momentum, Jungheinrich Singapore hopes to make the Blood Donation Drive a recurring CSR effort in the years ahead.
More CSR initiatives are already in planning as we continue building a workplace and community powered by care, commitment, and collective impact.
